Leading research and development services in anaerobic digestion, composting, and environmental biotechnology for industry, farmers, academia, and government.
Triple A Biogas Consulting Inc. is a Canadian-based consulting firm specialized in Environmental Biotechnology. Our expertise spans bioenergy and biogas production research, composting of organic wastes, fermentation, and soil and water quality assessments.
Our objective is to provide leading research and development services to the Biotechnology industry, farmers, academia and government — for the scale-up and commissioning of new plants, and to help existing plants remain ever competitive.
Triple A Biogas offers a comprehensive range of services in anaerobic digestion, wastewater treatment, composting, water quality analysis, and environmental site assessment (Phase I, II & III).
Expert consulting in biogas production, process optimization, and regulatory compliance for new and existing facilities.
Comprehensive feasibility studies for the commissioning of new biogas plants, including technical and economic assessments.
Laboratory testing to determine the biochemical methane potential (BMP) of various substrates and feedstocks.
Wet and dry anaerobic digestion laboratory and pilot-scale testing, plus evaluation of full-scale digester process performance.
Life cycle and techno-economic analyses to evaluate the sustainability and financial viability of biogas projects.
In-depth microbial community analysis to optimize digester performance and understand biological processes.
Composting of organic wastes and analysis of compost stability to support sustainable waste management practices.
Comprehensive water and soil quality testing, including wastewater analyses and disposal compliance verification.
Environmental Site Assessments across all three phases (Phase I, II & III) to identify and assess environmental liabilities.
Dr. Nkemka has extensive experience in bioenergy production and, in particular, anaerobic digestion for biogas production. He worked as an MSc. and PhD candidate at Lund University, Sweden, where he studied a variety of land- and marine-based biomasses for biogas production and investigated the pre-treatment of lignocellulose biomass for multiple biofuel production.
As an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, he employed various anaerobic process configurations for manure management and renewable energy production, including psychrophilic anaerobic digestion suited for cold Canadian climates.
As a MITACs Industrial Postdoctoral Fellow at Cape Breton University and InnoTech Alberta/University of Guelph, he investigated the failure of a full-scale Biogas Plant and studied the reduction of GHG emissions from dairy lagoon.
